No More Spills in LA, Advertisers Score Big

 

 

Los Angeles --- The Los Angeles Dodgers will be providing Stadium Cup Holders to fans for the first time. Dodger Stadium is one of the last MLB teams to install cup holders but their doing it up right. 

The Dodgers will be the first MLB Park to install Sports Media Caddy I Bathroom cup holders sponsored by advertising. The cup holders mount on wall and stalls and are branded with sponsors logos. 

The Dodgers successfully sold multi-year cup holder sponsorships in two weeks to a handful of sponsors braking down the 46,000 stadium seats. The new cup holder sponsors included; Carl’s Jr, Hampton Farms, Morehouse, Farmer Johns, Express, MasterCard and Coke Cola. The Dodger logo will also be on the cup holder. 

The Dodgers selected the new Caddy IV cup holder model because it provides more advertising space for Dodger sponsors. 

Dodger fans will be excites to have a safe place to keep their beverage and sponsors will reap the reward of a 93% advertising recall rate. Stadium cup holders collectively offers advertising the largest amount of advertising space in stadiums and it’s the only branded product that provides a service to fans, said Dan Kosth of Sports Media. 

Karen Marumoto, Director of Sponsorship Sales said “The stadium cup holder was a very easy sale to sponsor, the whole process took about two weeks and everyone is thrilled” 

The Dodgers are also installing new stadium seating, the cup holders are mounted in front of the fan on the back of the seat in front of them for easy access, everything should be in and ready by opening day April 3, 2006
